Hatha Yoga with Julia Galbraith
Hatha Mixed Levels
Julia offers asana, (pose) variations that honor and support individual differences. Students in her class can expect guidance in coordinating breath with movement, as well as an emphasis on core stability and strengthening. Students will learn to find a balance between stability and relaxation. The class will end with a guided relaxation. Beginners welcome.
Mindful Flow Yoga
Students will practice coming into the present moment in this steady/slow series of postures. By focusing on the breath and connecting it with the sequential flow of movements, students will balance their attention to become more mindful of themselves as a whole. The class will end with a guided meditative savasana and optional pranayama (breathing exercises). You may be surprised to experience how strengthening and challenging slow yoga can be with proper form.Variations are always offered to accommodate different levels of experience.
