Vinyasa Flow is a more vigorous style of yoga in which movement is synchronized with the breath. Poses flow together to become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale. It is a beautiful way to connect the mind and body to focus on the present moment. If you like to keep moving and appreciate a variety of sun salutations, standing postures and floor work, this style is perfect for you. Each class ends with a few minutes of savasana (relaxation pose) to allow for a bit of meditation and rest after a vigorous practice. All levels are welcome, modifications are always offered.
