In this 2-hour mini-retreat, Ajeet Hari will lead you in the practice of Kundalini yoga to lift our spirit! Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. The practice of Kundalini yoga is the journey to your true nature and, in the process, helps you to heal your body, mind, and spirit. Through mantra, we will use sound vibration to connect to our inner teacher and express our unique essence; through kriya (a sequence of postures, breath, and sound), we will prepare our bodies for meditation; through meditation, we will calm our mind. Following our practice, we will heal deeply with sound healing using the gong. All levels, especially beginners, are welcome.
Ajeet Hari has been practicing yoga off and on since she was seven years old and started practicing more seriously in 1996. Yoga and meditation have been and continue to be places of refuge, solace, peace, self inquiry, reflection, and exploration. She chose to pursue teacher training so that she could share this transformative practice with others. She has a 200-RYT in Hatha Yoga from ShivaShakti School of Yoga and a KRI Level 1 in Kundalini Yoga. She is currently working on her 500RYT in Hatha Yoga with ShivaShakti School of Yoga as well as an 800-hr Professional Yoga Therapy certification with Kripalu.
