“Love is the ultimate state of human behavior where compassion prevails and kindness rules.” ~ Yogi Bhajan Join Kathryn Kennedy for this 2-hour mini-retreat focused on Loving-Kindness, combining Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Kundalini Yoga includes mantra (sound vibration), kriya (a sequence of postures, breath, and sound), and meditation. Yoga Nidra, a deep restful sleep, incorporates guided meditation. Gong bath to follow our practice. All levels, especially beginners, are welcome.
Kathryn has been practicing yoga off and on since she was seven years old and started practicing more seriously in 1996. Yoga and meditation have been and continue to be places of refuge, solace, peace, self inquiry, reflection, and exploration. She chose to pursue teacher training so that she could share this transformative practice with others. She has a 200-RYT in Hatha Yoga from ShivaShakti School of Yoga and a KRI Level 1 certification in Kundalini Yoga. She is currently working on her 500RYT in Hatha Yoga with ShivaShakti School of Yoga with plans to pursue an 800-hr Professional Yoga Therapy certification with Kripalu.
