Gentle Beginner Yoga w/Kim (Thursday evenings)
5-wk series: Thursday evenings at 5:30pm, 5/3 to 5/31/18

$12 drop-in as space allows
This 5-week series will provide a gentle introduction to basic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation practices in a supportive environment. Focus will be on learning proper (safe) alignment and developing body/mind awareness. Yoga is a very personal practice and an individual journey for everyone who steps onto the mat. This class is suitable for beginners or those who prefer a slower, gentler yoga practice.
Do you have joint issues, back pain, or other challenges in your body? All the better. Come feel what a difference gentle, healing movement, breathwork, and meditation can make in your body. Modifications will be provided, making this class suitable for all bodies.
You will receive a sampling of styles in this series. Four evenings will be dedicated to Hatha Yoga, one evening will be a Yin Yoga practice, and we will have a taste of Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) to end one practice.
$50 for the 5-week series. (Drop ins welcome as space allows.)
