In her almost 15 years of practice, Alex has developed a deep respect for the connection between the healthy physical self and the peaceful spiritual self…and finds the way to bridge the two is through yoga.
Alex’s authentic, perfection-dispensing approach to life is reflected in her teaching style, always encouraging students to smile, laugh, acknowledge and enjoy what they are capable of…instead of focusing on their idea of “perfect.”
In her professional life outside the yoga studio, Alex enjoys a career in Public Affairs and is deeply in love with her dachshund, Stella. Her human, Harry, is pretty good company, as well.
Alex is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She is currently working on her 500 Hour Teacher Training at the ShivaShakti School of Yoga in Union, Maine where she earned her initial certification. She currently teaches “Find Your Flow” on Saturday mornings.
